The Spring Reunion is a special live concert organized by PG Entertainment. The show is inspired by the New Year (Tết) and features famous Vietnamese artists like Cao Thai Son, Thanh Ha, Tran Thai Hoa, Luu Bich, Phan Duy Anh, Xuan Nghi, MC Hoai Tam, and Brothers Band.
The VietShowNow team attended the show and covered it. The show started at 8:00 PM, but because VIP attendees were late as usual, it began at 8:15 PM instead.
Before the Spring Reunion concert, there was a Lion Dance at 6:00 PM. Many people wore áo dài to the show. Áo dài is a traditional Vietnamese dress commonly worn at Vietnamese cultural events and can appear at Lunar New Year or spring celebrations.
Singer Xuan Nghi starts the concert. She had on a stunning crimson outfit. The fog and smoke made it impossible for me to get a good photo of her. This is Xuan Nhi’s debut appearance at Ilani.
She was born on May 13, 1994, in Lâm Đồng/Đà Lạt, Vietnam, and later lived in the United States, namely San Francisco/California. She first gained popularity as a child singer, performing children’s songs and winning numerous local and city-level singing honors in Ho Chi Minh City. She began performing on stage around the age of five and became known as a “music prodigy” in Vietnam.
New Music: She released a new single titled “OLDSKULL LOVE” in 2026, credited as a collaboration with other artists and listed on major streaming platforms.
The concert continues with Tran Thai Hoa, Thanh Ha, Luu Bich, Phan Duy Anh, and Cao Thai Son.
Lunar New Year 2026, also known as Vietnamese New Year (Tết), starts on Tuesday, February 17. The Lunar New Year’s date varies each year since it is determined by the lunar cycle. The year 2026 is known as the Year of the Horse.
The official Tet holiday in Vietnam for 2026 is nine days, from Saturday, February 14, 2026, to Sunday, February 22, 2026, combining statutory public holidays with adjacent weekends for a lengthier family vacation, with normal business resumed on February 23. This period spans the end of the lunar year (New Year’s Eve on February 16) and the start of the new lunar year, with the major day of Tet falling on February 17, 2026.
However the Spring Reunion Concert took place before the new lunar year officially began. Some people refer to this preparation phase as “celebrating Tết early,” even though the official New Year has not yet started.
