On Monday, September 1, 2025, at 8:30 PM, the 2025 Labor Day party took place at Muckleshoot Casino. Khanh Ngoc, Dan Nguyen, Vicky Nhung, Luu Bich, Philip Huy, Lilian, and Duong Buu Trung were among the performers on the show’s roster.

Since we knew that the show would run four hours, we arrived early to eat, and we stayed until the very end.

Pictures of performing artists are shown below.

To begin coverage of this show, all of the performers did an excellent job; however, two had slightly scratchy voices, possibly due to catching something before arriving. I have found that many enjoy Vicky Nhung’s smooth and soothing voice.

In this segment, I want to spend some time talking about a long-time friend of mine, Khanh Ngoc. I’ve known Khanh Ngoc for almost 20 years, but I haven’t seen her or her performances in Seattle in the last 12 years.

Perhaps because she frequently sings about separation, the female singer born in 1983’s love life appears to be fortunate in the song. She married in 2011, but they split up just over a year later. After the divorce, she became so depressed that she lost her ability to sing.

After getting married and having children, Khanh Ngoc temporarily stopped singing to take care of her family. However, after the breakup, she had to return to the stage to earn money in order to raise her children and support her family.

Khang Ngoc: “Reflecting on that moment, I was truly embarrassed. When I went on stage to perform, I realized my voice was out of tune. The audience used to love my voice, but during that performance, I lacked color and voice. I felt afraid of disapproving looks from the audience, my body tensed up, and I struggled to hit high notes. It may have been the darkest moment in my life,” she said.

Khanh Ngoc’s current partner is Desalle Bui, a 55-year-old Vietnamese-American businessman. They met through a dating app and discovered that they shared many similarities in their perspectives on life. The businessman often flew back to Vietnam to visit Khanh Ngoc, and their feelings for each other grew stronger over time. The couple has now been together for eight years.

Khanh Ngoc returns to Seattle after 12 years of absence; she wows the crowd in Seattle with her new style, songs with suitable music for modern listeners, and strong vocals.

Born into a family with no one in the arts, Khanh Ngoc showed her passion for singing from a young age. When she was in her final year of university, she decided to compete in the 2004 Television Singing Contest and won the championship. This was the turning point for her to officially pursue a professional singing career.

After receiving formal training and winning prestigious prizes in professional competitions, Khanh Ngoc turned to ballad music that appealed to the public’s tastes at that time. She and Nhat Tinh Anh collaborated to create the hit song, “Vang Trang Khoc”.

Khanh Ngoc’s return to Seattle is more than just a comeback – it is a triumph of resilience, strength, and unwavering passion. Her journey serves as a reminder that no matter how difficult the situation may appear, with dedication and determination, anything is achievable. As Khanh Ngoc continues to impress the audience with her new style, songs, and powerful vocals, she has solidified her position as a promising artist to follow in the music industry.
