The celebration of the Cambodian, Thai, and Lao New Year is being hosted by Muckleshoot Casino in a lively manner. This festival is a traditional event that showcases cultural performances and musical shows by artists Khun Daravatey, Pisey, Danny, Jiab, Channan, Sophorth, MC Boramy, Bora, Khemarak Samaki Classical Group, and Hangtep Band. It’s an open event for everyone and provides a great opportunity to experience the rich culture of these traditions.

Because of the traditional dance, it seems as though there are more Cambodians at the show. Please let me know if I’m wrong in the comments section below. Cambodia, Thailand, and Laos all celebrate the New Year at this show. However, one of the singers stated on stage that, regardless of nationality, Thank you for coming to support the show and New Year’s celebration.
That sounds like a vibrant celebration! The Muckleshoot tribe’s hosting of Cambodian, Thai, and Laotian New Year celebrations likely adds a rich cultural dimension to the festivities. These New Year celebrations often involve colorful parades, traditional dances, and joyful gatherings to mark the beginning of the new year according to the lunar calendar. It’s wonderful to see communities coming together to celebrate and share their cultural heritage.
Cambodia, Thailand, and Laos all celebrate their New Year around the same time, typically in mid-April. This New Year festival is known as “Songkran” in Thailand, “Chaul Chnam Thmey” in Cambodia, and “Pi Mai” in Laos. It’s a significant holiday in these countries, marked by various traditional customs, water festivals, and religious ceremonies to welcome the new year and wash away the past year’s misfortunes.
This is my first time covering the Cambodia show. I want to step out of my comfort zone and capture pictures of an event. When I arrived, I didn’t know what to expect. The photos I took turned out to be amazing. Stepping into the unknown might be nerve-racking, yet it frequently results in the most memorable moments. It appears that I not only accepted the challenge but also excelled at it through my photos. This media coverage has made the trip both unexpected and exciting for me.
Thank you for stopping by; please check out the photographs below.
