HeadMediaNow – Trish Thuy Trang is a Vietnamese-American singer and songwriter. Trish grew up listening to artists such as Madonna, Mariah Carey, and Sheryl Crow, so she was already familiar with American music styles. As a result, her music is a cross between Asian pop, western pop, and R&B. Her parents recognized her love of music and encouraged her to take piano lessons, which led to the discovery of Trang’s natural talent for singing – a discovery that led to a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity with Asia Entertainment.

Friends encouraged Trang to send a demo to Asia Entertainment after witnessing her vocal abilities in various karaoke sessions. Asia Entertainment signed her after being impressed by how easily she transitioned between English and Vietnamese.
Trang composes and produces the vast majority of her own music. She appears in Asia Entertainment videos for the Vietnamese music community and works on CD productions with Asia Entertainment and Triple T Productions. Trish Thuy Trang was one of the first Vietnamese singers to be featured on iTunes, where her fourth CD Trish is available for purchase. Shades of Blue, her fifth studio album, was released in April 2008. Her sixth studio album, “Whispers,” was released in 2010.
Trish and her fiancé Nghia married in a Buddhist ceremony in October 2010 and welcomed their first child, a son named Nio, in 2012. “His name is Buddhist and means the guardian of Buddha and protector of cherished values and beliefs against evil,” she explained on her Facebook page.
Trish announced on her Facebook page in January 2014 that she was pregnant again, this time with a daughter, and posted ultrasound images of the baby. Melodi, her daughter, was born on May 31, 2014.
Trish is also the founder of Scabib, a baby wear company.
