Phuong My Chi treated Covid-19 in the pain of losing two loved ones

Recounting the 21-day journey of her and her family’s victory over Covid-19, My Chi loves her loved ones and appreciates her health after the events.

Posting a new vlog on her personal page, Phuong My Chi said that she and her mother received positive results for nCoV after a quick test on August 15. Her sister then informed the ward health. Due to the overload of the local health system, she and her mother were consulted by doctors and guided for home treatment. Three days later, Phuong My Chi’s sister and father also got sick. The whole family had symptoms of fatigue, fever, loss of smell and taste, so they were quite confused.

The first three days with My Chi were very difficult, her whole family was in turmoil because she had to prepare necessary medical supplies, rearrange the room, disinfect, and clean. She had a runny nose, sore throat, loss of sense of smell, diarrhea, and fever twice. Meanwhile, her mother’s symptoms were more severe. She had a continuous fever, insomnia for many days, aches, shortness of breath, diarrhea, cough, sore throat leading to a lot of loss of strength. My Chi’s mother’s SpO2 index was sometimes only 86. When she saw her mother breathing fast, her face red, lying tired, she was heartbroken but always encouraged her mother to try.

In the following days, members of Phuong My Chi’s family encouraged each other mentally. The strong take care of the weaker. They drink a lot of warm water, blow their nose 2-3 times a day with lemongrass, ginger, and wind oil. The whole family exercises daily eat well, takes vitamins, and always has medicines ready when needed such as medicine for fever, diarrhea, cough, sore throat. 14 days after treatment, all family members received negative rapid test results.

After 21 days of treatment, the ward’s medical team went to My Chi’s house to test and everyone received negative results. Currently, the health of My Chi’s family has completely recovered. She believes that spirit is the most important factor. “Thoughts lead to actions, and actions lead to results. This is a common difficulty for all of us. If we can overcome it, we are our own heroes. For the F0s, The only advice for everyone is to always be optimistic. It is a cheerful spirit that is the fastest medicine for each of us to overcome the disease, “she said.

Previously, Phuong My Chi’s youngest aunt – singer Phuong Que Nhu – died at the age of 47 on August 16 after being treated for Covid-19 at the Ho Chi Minh City Cancer Hospital. Another relative of the singer also died on this occasion, but not because of the disease. The child singer first talked about the pain of losing a loved one: “Last August, I felt sad because I lost two loved ones. It was also a great psychological pressure for my family. I tried to encourage them both. home to have the best spirit to fight Covid-19”. The 18-year-old singer feels that he loves his family and appreciates his health more after the Covid-19 treatment period because “I saw that person laughing here today, but I may not see him tomorrow”.

She also expressed her admiration for the doctors, soldiers, and volunteers on the front lines of the fight against the epidemic. “I know many young people nowadays often rely on their health, stay up late, don’t exercise. But when they experience a certain event, people know to appreciate the value of health. Because health is the root. so we can get up and get through it all,” she advised.
