Huong Tram releases MV about gay love

Singer Huong Tram released the MV “Dong Tinh” – referring to a same-sex love story – made in the US.

In the music video, Huong Tram enters the heartbroken wife when she discovers that her husband (played by actor Spencer) is in love with his male colleague (played by actor Stanislav). The MV script was written by the female singer, inspired by the life story that she observed and felt. The music video is aimed at the LGBT community, sending the message: Love does not discriminate against gender, class, ethnicity, or anything that society considers right or wrong.

The song was composed by Tu Dua in the pop ballad genre. The musician said that because of translation and geographical distance, the recording process was difficult. Singer Huong Tram once flew back to the country, went with him to the studio to work, then gave the song to four musicians to mix and match. She chose the best version and brought it to America as a master. The second time they collaborated after the hit Duyen I missed in 2018.

In May 2019, Huong Tram went to the US to study. In six years of singing, she created a foothold thanks to songs such as Rain Girl (Mr. Siro), Ngoo (Khac Viet), Duyen My Miss (Tu Dua), etc. She also held her first live show called Box. 1 in Hanoi in early 2019.
