Singer Quoc Anh died of Covid-19

Singer Quoc Anh died at a hospital in the US on the afternoon of February 10 (local time). He died after the treatment of Covid-19.

On February 11, Mr. Jimmy Nhut Ha, a relative of Quoc Anh’s family, said that he died at 13:00 on February 10 (local time) at Fountain Valley Hospital (California, USA).

The singer passed away at the age of 72 after struggling with Covid-19.

“Singer Quoc Anh’s wife announced the sad news to Ms. Phuong Hong Que and me on the afternoon of February 10th. He passed away peacefully. Condolences with family members”, he said.

Singer Quoc Anh was hospitalized with Covid-19. His illness worsened, and he had to go to an emergency room in the hospital ICU room.

Singer Quoc Anh (born 1949) has a French father and a Vietnamese mother. He entered the singing career at the age of 19 but failed to make a name for himself.

He used to go to Paris, France to seek opportunities in art. Here, he collaborated and performed cultural activities within the community of Vietnamese living in France.

It was not until the 1980s that the name of Quoc Anh singer was known to the public. With a gentle and affectionate voice, he received a lot of love from the audience and quickly became a popular singer overseas. His song Happy Spring Wedding has been loved by many generations of audiences.

The male singer once said about his career path: “Although I have never reached the peak of my singing career, I am still very satisfied and proud”.
