Chi Tai’s manager announced to the media that the male artist had died suddenly of a stroke.
Singer Phi Nhung shared with the reporters, that “Mr. Chi Tai passed away at a hospital in Ho Chi Minh City, 2 hours ago. I was performing in Rach Gia, Kien Giang province when I received this shocking news. I am arranging to see you for the last time”.
Phi Nhung also told reporters that she could not believe it, but this was the truth. The singer burst into tears and said that she has now canceled the show to return to Ho Chi Minh City.
In addition to Phi Nhung, a series of artists such as Thu Trang, Duong Thanh Vang … also said they were shocked to hear that Chi Tai passed away.
Artist Chi Tai was born in 1958, he used to be the main singer in the band Chi Tai Brothers. Then he left the group and switched to comedies with Hoai Linh. The artist duo has formed a pair of identical cards on stage for more than 20 years.
