The Most Anticipated Sci-Fi Flick Of The Year Is About To Land
Words from the 1982 original cult classic – Ridley Scott’s dystopian vision of a 2019 Los Angeles gone wrong. Fast-forward thirty years and you’ve almost got the premise for this long-awaited sequel, which we teased last year. This time there’s a new (anti) hero – Ryan Gosling’s ‘K’, who’s discovered a secret that threatens what’s left of humanity. Sent to find the original Blade Runner – Deckard, who’s been off the grid for the last three decades – we can’t wait to see what happens.
Directed by the much acclaimed Denis Villenueve (Arrival, Sicario) and also starring Harrison Ford, Jared Leto, Mackenzie Davis and Robin Wright, the trailer gives little away, but brings back as much of the original vibe as possible, including that unmistakable ‘Blade Runner’ score.
