“Co Ba Sai Gon” to journey through generations of Vietnamese tradition
From the same production team who brought us “Tam Cam: The Untold Story” will come a nostalgic film about fashion. Director Ngo Thanh Van and designer Thuy Nguyen are to join hands with a cast of cinema stalwarts including Ninh Duong Lan Ngoc, Diem My 9x, Hong Van, Diem My and Oanh Kieu, to recreate Saigon in the 1960s – a time renowned as the heyday of traditional Vietnamese dress.
At the press announcement event at Khanhcasa Tea House yesterday, the cast and principal crea showed up in full costume to confirm a release later in the Autumn.
